In the first three months of 2025, we stayed true to our purpose at Lets Go Travel Uniglobe—making travel a force for good.

We stood by elderly members of the Limuru community, offering food, dignity, and care through the Pat Dixson Aid. In classrooms across Laikipia, we helped 849 girls stay in school, tackling the silent barrier of period poverty with over 10,000 sanitary pads and renewed confidence.

On forest trails and green spaces, our team joined bird walks, not just for leisure, but to listen to the rhythms of nature and help monitor Kenya’s biodiversity. Meanwhile, our push for responsible travel continued—less paper, fewer plastics, and more conscious choices.

And through Utalii Bora, we gave young tourism students a voice—inviting them to explore, evaluate, and celebrate Kenya’s cultural sites, from the Railway Museum to the coast’s ancient ruins.

Our recent outreach to 8 partner schools in Laikipia East wasn’t just a visit — it was a shared journey of learning, care, and action. Together with the students, we held open and honest conversations around reproductive health, hygiene, and mental wellness, thanks to the support of Nanyuki Cottage Hospital. The energy in the rooms was powerful — curious questions, thoughtful reflections, and a sense of connection that went beyond the classroom.

For the girls, receiving sanitary towels through our Keep Her in School program meant more than just a package — it meant dignity, confidence, and the freedom to show up fully in class.

Outside, laughter and muddy hands marked the Adopt a Tree activities as students planted indigenous and fruit trees across their school grounds. Each tree, a symbol of their commitment to the planet and their communities.

These moments remind us why we do what we do. When the young generation is empowered with knowledge, supported with care, and included in shaping their future — change begins to take root.

This Earth Day, we recognize that education is the foundation of sustainable development, and we remain passionate about empowering future generations to become stewards of the environment.

What we do:

🌿 Environmental Education—We collaborate with 7 schools from Laikipia East Constituency, Laikipia County, and have impacted over 6,000 Young Change Makers from various institutions of higher learning in Kenya in partnership with @sttafrica since 2017, to raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity, sustainable conservation, and climate action.

🌳 Tree Growing Initiatives—We actively support reforestation and afforestation programs across Kenya. In the first quater of 2025, we have planted over 600 trees in Nanyuki and Limuru in a bid to restore our ecosystems, support our wildlife, and capture carbon.

📘 Sustainability Training – From eco-conscious travel practices to responsible tourism, we’re educating our travelers, our team, and our partners to reduce environmental impact and promote long-term sustainability.
