Day 1: Nairobi - Tree Hotel

Drive from Nairobi in the early morning, past the coffee plantations and into the rich green town of Nyeri, before arriving at a Tree Hotel of your choice. Set high above natural salt licks and illuminated waterholes, relax under the stars and enjoy viewing the forest animals right from the comfort of your lodge’s terrace.

Day 2: Tree Hotel - Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, continue your journey north across the equator, gently descending into the arid, desert-like setting of Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, travelling on to your lodge in Samburu Game Reserve.

After lunch, enjoy a thrilling afternoon off the beaten track, following prowling predators, and witnessing some of Kenya’s most rare wildlife species including the Blue-Necked Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra. Unwind from a day of excitement with cocktails, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

The remote Samburu offers a magical, tucked-away romantic destination where you can spend time together tracking Samburu’s Big Five and rare wildlife through the reserve’s meandering rivers and forests, sharing in your newfound appreciation for the magic of nature.

Return to your lodge as dusk settles over Samburu for sundowners over golden plains, followed by an intimate, lantern-lit dinner and a night spent under a shimmering cover of stars.

Optional Activities: Bird walks, Cultural visits and dance and camel rides.

Day 4 (Option 1): Samburu Game Reserve - Mount Kenya Safari Lodge

After one more morning spent out in Samburu’s wilderness, continue your journey onwards to Mount Kenya Safari Club, a picturesque lover’s haven set on the foothills of the magnificent Mt. Kenya. Share in a romantic walk along the manicured gardens, woodland trails and ponds, or indulge in a couple’s massage as you toast to your new life together.

Day 4 (Option 2): Samburu Game Reserve - Laikipia

Journey further to a private conservancy in Laikipia, a place of transcendent beauty. You’ll have quality time to celebrate your new life and can enjoy complete freedom to spend your day as you wish, whether it’s relaxing by the pool, or doing something more adventurous such as riding or a bush walk, or sleeping out on a star bed gazing at the Milky Way and star lit night.

Day 5: Mount Kenya Safari Club/Laikipia - Nairobi

After one last peaceful morning together, you’ll begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving into the city before lunch.
