Day 1: Europe - Antananarivo

Upon arrival at Ivato International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring Madagascar’s capital, or Tana as it’s commonly known. This exciting city offers a huge amount of history and culture to discover, as well as some unexpected wildlife options.

Day 2: Antananarivo - Diego Suarez - Amber Mountain

This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to Diego Suarez and onward to the Montagne d’Ambre National Park. Famous for its sacred lakes and waterfalls, rare and endemic plants, and cheeky lemurs, this tour will allow you to explore the truly lush and beautiful northern Madagascar landscape.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch and sights of lemurs, chameleons, mongoose, and bright butterflies during your trek. Following this, you’ll return to your hotel in Joffreville for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amber Mountain - Ankarana National Park

Following breakfast, you’ll begin your 3 hour drive to Ankarana National Park, which contains a unique geological wonder - an eroded fortress filled with limestone spires, or tsingies. Along your trek, enjoy the park’s variety of landscapes including tropical jungle, raging rivers, canyons, and the biggest underground network of caves in Africa.

Following a picnic lunch and a visit to the caves, you’ll return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ankarana National Park - Ankify - Nosy Be

In the morning, you’ll drive to Ankify, a small coastal village where a boat awaits to take you to the remote, tropical island of Nosy Be, where you’ll have the chance to relax and unwind on the soft white shores of the Indian ocean.

Enjoy an afternoon on the beach at your leisure and an overnight stay.

Day 5 & 6 - Nosy Be

Situated just off the north-west coast of Madagascar and famed for its powder white sand and coral reef, Nosy Be is one of the region’s most popular resorts. Spend two days relaxing on the beach and engaging in exciting activities such as visiting the Lokobe Reserve, going on a day cruise to Nosy Komba - the island of lemurs, or travelling to Nosy Tanikely, a protected marine reserve and one of the best snorkelling sites in the world.

Day 7: Nosy Be - Antananarivo

Today, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Antananarivo. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8: Antananarivo - Europe

Spend the morning going on an excursion to Ambohimanga, a traditional fortified royal settlement, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most important spiritual and historic sites for the Malagasy people. In the afternoon, you’ll head back to Tana to visit a lively and bustling handicraft market.

In the evening, you’ll be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your flight back to Europe.
