10:15 - 12:00 - Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
A haven for elephant calves and rhinos across Kenya, a visit to the Sheldrick Elephant orphanage is a truly heartwarming experience! You’ll have the chance to foster a baby elephant and watch as they roll and play in the mud, before being fed and bathed.
12:00-13:00 - Nairobi Giraffe Centre

13:00-13.30 - Matbronze Wildlife Art Gallery
Founded by the acclaimed sculpturist, Denis Matthews, the Matbronze Wildlife Art Gallery was the first bronze foundry in East Africa. A haven for contemporary African wildlife sculptures, the gallery exhibits everything from elephant statues to lion paw-shaped dishes or ashtrays.
13:30 - 15:00 - Karen Blixen Coffee Garden
Located in a serene setting in Nairobi’s most exclusive suburb, the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden is a Swedo house, originally a hunting lodge for the coffee farm owned by Baron Blixen and his wife Karen, who wrote the book and film “Out of Africa” under her pen name, Isak Dinesen. The Swedo house also served as the farm manager’s residence on the Blixen Estate.
Enjoy a delicious meal surrounded by hundred year old trees and a beautiful garden that boasts a variety of blooming flowers and large population of birds.
15:30 - 16:00: Karen Blixen Museum
Located at the foot of Ngong Hills, the Karen Blixen Museum was former home of the Danish author, Karen Blixen. The museum takes you on a journey, back to a time of romance and enchantment and each room is a treasure trove, revealing the secrets and stories of Kenya’s rich history.
16:15 - 17:00: Kazuri Bead Factory
Located five minutes from the museum, your next stop will be at the Kazuri Bead Factory. Here, you’ll witness the fascinating process of making the hand-painted, ceramic jewellery, and you’ll even have the chance to purchase some brightly colored and vibrant keepsakes of your own!
17:00 - 17:30: Ocean Sole
A unique Kenyan startup, Ocean Sole transforms old flip flops found on beaches and in waterways into incredible works of art. Here you’ll find playful creations from animal statues to attractive jewellery, all of which have been handcrafted with the mission of protecting Kenya’s ocean and its beautiful marine life.
17:30: City Hotel
After a day spent exploring the truly fascinating city of Nairobi, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel to enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.
