This 6 day itinerary takes you from Oman’s charming capital, Muscat, including a trip to the mystic Wahiba Sands, and then on to the colorful and tropical Salalah, where you are sure to enjoy beautiful views, once-in-a-lifetime adventures, and unrivalled hospitality.

Day 1: Muscat

Upon arrival at the airport in Muscat, you’ll be met by a local representative who will transfer you to your city hotel. Spend the afternoon exploring Oman’s most important city; a hive of contemporary and traditional culture, Muscat truly has some amazing places to experience.

Overnight: Al Maha International Hotel

Day 2: Day Trip to Wahiba Sands

Say goodbye to big city living and immerse yourself in the far-away world of Wahiba Sands. From the beautiful formations of red and white sands, to enjoying a dip in the blue waterfalls of Wadi Bani Khalid, you’re sure to enjoy a relaxing and refreshing day out.

In the evening, return to your hotel in Muscat for dinner and an overnight stay.

Inclusions: Full day tour (8 hours), English speaking driver guide, 2 bottles of mineral water per person, and entrance fees.

Overnight: Al Maha International Hotel

Day 3: Muscat - Salalah

Today, transfer to the airport for your further journey to Salalah, where you will be met by a local representative who will take you to your hotel. Spend the day discovering Oman’s precious natural gem, whether it’s at Taqa Castle, the Al-Nahdah Tower, the Al Balid Archeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

End the day with a relaxing visit to Al Hafa beach followed by an authentic mouthwatering meal and some traditional Omani desserts and coffee.

Overnight: Salalah Gardens Hotel

Day 4: Full Day Tour of East & West Salalah

Today, you will get to explore the whole of Salalah from the century-old Taqah Castle and ancient ruins of the city of Sumhuram, to the ancient tomb of Prophet Job and the white sands of Mughsail beach. You will then return to your hotel to enjoy your evening at your leisure.

Overnight: Salalah Gardens Hotel

Day 5: Salalah - Muscat

Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your journey to Muscat. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by a local representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the beautiful city of Muscat followed by a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

Overnight: Best Western Premier Muscat

Day 6: Muscat

Check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
