Day 1: Nairobi - Tree Hotel

Drive from Nairobi in the early morning, past the coffee and pineapple plantations, into the rich green town of Nyeri, before arriving at a Tree Hotel of your choice. Set high above natural salt licks and waterholes, relax under the stars and enjoy stunning views of forest animals’ right from the comfort of your lodge’s terrace.

Day 2: Tree Hotel - Samburu Game Reserve

After breakfast, continue your journey north across the equator, gently descending into the arid, desert-like setting of Kenya’s Northern Frontier District, traveling on to your lodge in Samburu Game Reserve.

After lunch, enjoy a thrilling afternoon off the beaten track, racing to keep up with prowling predators, and witnessing some of Kenya’s most rare wildlife species including the Blue-Necked Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe and Grevy’s Zebra. Unwind from a day of excitement with cocktails, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve

As the sun rises in a calm and serene Samburu, embark on a full day of game viewing. As you track Samburu’s ‘Big Five’ and rare wildlife, allow the enormity and quirky charm of this remote corner of Kenya engulf you, as you gain a newfound appreciation for the magic of nature.

Enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand, soaking in the fading day’s beauty, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Optional Activities: Bird walks, Cultural visits and dance and camel rides.

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve - Great Rift Valley

After breakfast and armed with a picnic lunch, drive across the Northern Frontier District to the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, among wandering herds of giraffe and zebra. You will arrive at your hotel of choice, overlooking either Lake Nakuru, Elementaita, or Naivasha, for a peaceful afternoon, away from norm.

Surrounded by steep calderas and mountain ranges, escape the mundane and every day, and experience the romance and beauty of this great natural wonder, older than humanity itself.

Optional Activities: Take a flight out of Lake Naivasha directly to the Masai Mara

Day 5: Great Rift Valley - Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for a hearty lunch. This will be followed by a late afternoon game drive exploring the vast savannahs as the heat of the sun turns to a soft glow, setting the scene for great silhouettes.

Settle into the night with the crackle of fire and the soothing sounds of the wild. Enjoy your dinner, followed by an overnight stay.

Day 6: Masai Mara Game Reserve

As you step out into the wild world of the Masai Mara, you can be sure that this full day of safaris will give you all the drama and excitement you could wish for, plus some quiet and truly magical moments of inspiration and romance, thanks to the park’s endlessly rolling savannahs.

Once back at the lodge, enjoy drinks by the bar, a good meal under the stars, before climbing into bed for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi

Enjoy one last morning escapade among Mara’s truly astounding wildlife, before returning to your lodge for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi, arriving into the city mid/late afternoon.
