Prices

Validity of Prices - Prices are valid for the periods shown but are subject to change without notice in the event of Government action, i.e. increase in hotel tax or VAT, or to increase if prices are significantly affected by other circumstances beyond our control. Prices are based on exchange rates prevailing at the time of publication and may alter should any major variation in exchange rates occur.

Prices Include - Prices quoted for safaris generally include transport as per the itinerary, game drives where appropriate, full board accommodation, picnic/extra lunches where stated, scheduled charter flights and park entrance fees where mentioned.

Prices Exclude - Itinerary prices generally exclude international flights, visa costs, airport taxes, optional excursions, personal insurance (medical or other), flying doctors evacuation membership, drinks, tips, phone calls, laundry and any items of a personal nature.

Children - Children under 12 years of age sharing with parents generally pay 50%, unless stated otherwise. Confirm at time of booking.

RESERVATIONS/PAYMENTS

A  35% non-refundable deposit is required on booking and the balance 6  weeks before the safari date, although in certain circumstances larger deposits are required. If booking within 6 weeks of the safari date, the whole amount is payable at time of confirmation. Notwithstanding any prior confirmation of arrangements, the right is reserved not to undertake a booking if payment is not made in accordance with the foregoing. For international air tickets, full payment will be required at the time of issuing the tickets. Exact terms and conditions of the airline ticket will also apply. These vary with the airline and with the type and class of the ticket, and are available on enquiry or at the time of booking.

CANCELLATIONS

Any booking cancelled forfeits the deposit and if cancelled within 50 days of the first day of the safari the total cost of the safari is forfeited. Some variations do occur, check at time of booking.

CREDIT CARD/ PESAPAL PAYMENTS

This Credit Card Payment Service enables us to accept credit card payments from you the customer. Utilizing revolutionary internet based technology and the most advanced antifraud services from Pesapal - this Online Credit Card Payment Service offers a reliable, safe and user friendly option for collecting credit card payments from you. VISA, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, PayPal is supported, as well as locally in Kenya Mpesa and Airtel money. When your travel arrangements have been finalised and we need a deposit or balance payment, our Leisure / Safari Expert will send you the necessary link to this payment process. This process can only be used 2 weeks or more before the start of the travel arrangements. If your arrangements are within the 2 weeks period, then our Leisure / Safari Specialist will give you alternative modes of payment.

ACCOMMODATION

Wherever possible we book rooms with private bathrooms throughout a safari on the basis of two persons sharing a double room. Single rooms are available at supplementary cost but neither single nor rooms with private bathrooms can be guaranteed.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation varies with each itinerary but is usually by earthy coloured (blends well with the environment) 4x4 Safari Cruiser or Minibus with large windows, pop-up roofs, guaranteed window seats and the services of an English speaking driver/guide. French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese speaking driver/guides are also available. On Flying Safaris you are usually met by the lodge open sided 4x4 Safari land cruiser.

RESPONSIBILITY

All bookings are accepted on the specific condition that Let’s Go Travel Limited trading as  Lets Go Travel Uniglobe act only as booking agents for the tour members in making arrangements for hotels, lodges, transportation, sightseeing, restaurants or any other services in connection with any itinerary. Every effort and care will be taken in making such arrangements, however, Let’s Go Travel Limited trading as Lets Go Travel Uniglobe do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to any act of default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person or any of their servants or agents rendering any of the services included in the tour. The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other contractor rendering service shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour member.

Furthermore, Let’s Go Travel Limited trading as Lets Go Travel Uniglobe accept no responsibility for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather or any cause beyond their personal control. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute services without notice and to decline to accept or retain any tour members at any time. No carrier shall be responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board its own conveyance.

SAFARI CODE

  • Respect the privacy of the wildlife as the park/reserve/conservancy is their habitat.
  • Beware of the animals, they are wild and can be unpredictable.
  • Don’t crowd the animals or make sudden noises or movements.
  • Don’t feed the animals, it upsets their diet and leads to human dependence.
  • Keep quiet, noise disturbs the wildlife and may antagonize your fellow visitors.
  • Stay in your vehicle at all times, except at designated picnic or walking areas.
  • Keep below the parks/reserve/ conservancy maximum speed limit (40 kph/25 mph).
  • Avoid driving off-road, this severely damages the habitat.
  • When viewing wildlife keep to a minimum distance of 20 meters and pull to the side of the road so as to allow others to pass.
  • Leave no litter and never leave fires unattended or discard burning objects.
  • Respect the cultural heritage of Kenya, do not take pictures of the local people or their habitat without asking their permission, respect the cultural traditions of Kenya.

SOCIAL POLICY

Child Protection:

Lets Go Travel Limited trading as Uniglobe Lets Go Travel is against any form of exploitation of children.

We request all to adhere to the Children's act. According to the Kenyan Constitution especially the child's protection phrase "A child shall be protected from sexual exploitation and use in prostitution, inducement or coercion to engage in any sexual activity, and exposure to obscene materials.” Any partner found not adhering to the laws, will be in breach of our contract, resulting to immediate contract termination.

BIODIVERSITY

Lets Go Travel Limited trading as Lets Go Travel Uniglobe expects that clients will limit their negative effect on local and global biodiversity where-ever feasible. Meaning they shall minimize all negative impact on environment.

The below is expected of them:

  • There shall be no form of poaching or buying of animal parts, trading of ivory, shark fin, turtles and sea shells. All purchased curios are to be made of sustainable woods only.
  • The client shall desist from buying any souvenirs or food which contain threatened flora and fauna species as indicated in the CITES treaty and the IUCN ‘Red List’; historic and archaeological artefacts (except as permitted by law).

ANTI-CORRUPTION

Lets Go Travel Limited trading as Uniglobe Lets Go Travel does not tolerate any type of corruption or bribery, either public or private, either active or passive. We firmly advocate for transparency in all our dealing with all customers, suppliers and authorities and honour the relevant local and international Anti-corruption standards, rules and regulations.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY

We ensure that customer privacy is not compromised. Our staff are trained to conduct business with fairness and integrity; our advertising is truthful and fairly describes the qualities of the travel service and accommodations offered, free of misleading statements or inferences, every transaction with a client is confidential.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

We strongly recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance whilst on safari.
